Thread Bancorp, parent company of Thread Bank, raises $30.5m in funding round led by Portage Ventures. Funds to support embedded banking strategy, bringing Tier 1 capital to $100m. Thread Bank offers digital banking services and aims to provide ‘digital branches’ embedded within partner platforms. Bank manages over $2bn in partner deposits with threefold increase in embedded deposits since 2024. New partnerships and corporate headquarters in Nashville.
