Coinbase is expanding beyond digital assets to launch stock trading and prediction markets in pursuit of becoming an “everything app.” Stock trading is now available on Coinbase, enabling 24/7 trading of stocks and ETFs globally, powered by crypto. Prediction markets with Kalshi will also roll out, along with 24/7 perpetuals offering up to 50 times leverage on crypto and stocks. Coinbase aims to become an “everything exchange” with a wider array of offerings, building on its rebranding as an “everything app” in July.
