Walmart (NYSE: WMT) is set to report its fourth-quarter results with expected sales to increase by 5-5.5% for the full year 2024. The company’s total debt is $55.4 billion, with $12.2 billion in cash, facing challenges with slowing U.S. comparable sales growth. Analysts forecast its valuation at $163 per share, in line with the current market price.
Revenues for Q4 2024 are estimated to be around $160.1 billion, slightly above consensus, driven by 4.9% U.S. same-store sales growth. Trefis estimates Walmart’s fiscal 2024 revenues at $638 billion. Earnings per share for Q4 2024 is expected to be $1.51, slightly missing consensus estimates. Walmart’s valuation translates into a price of $163, approximately in line with the current market price.
