Stock market gains were short-lived on Wednesday as the S&P 500 dipped 0.1% and the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.3%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average managed to rise 168 points, or 0.4%. Bespoke Investment Group co-founder Paul Hickey noted that after a data-heavy day, the economic calendar was quiet, but there was some Fedspeak to look out for.
