Corn futures closed higher on Thursday, with front-month contracts up 4 to 4 ½ cents. Cash corn price rose to $4.00 3/4. Export Sales data for 11/27 showed 1.792 MMT sold, above estimates. Export sale commitments are 29.7% larger than last year at 44.35 MMT, a record pace. Corn prices closed at $4.44 1/2 for Mar 26, $4.52 1/4 for May 26, and $4.58 for Jul 26.
