HARMAN International, a unit of Samsung Electronics, has agreed to acquire ZF group’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) business for 1.5 billion euro. This acquisition will enhance Harman’s automotive technology offerings and enable OEMs to deploy safer and more scalable vehicle architectures. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2026, with approximately 3750 ZF employees transitioning to HARMAN. Samsung’s shares closed at 111,500 KRW on the Korean Stock Exchange, up 0.90% on Tuesday. The acquisition underscores Samsung’s commitment to the future of mobility and HARMAN’s leadership in the industry’s transformation.
