This move is expected to enhance Daktronics’ product innovation strategy and accelerate growth. MicroLED technology offers higher brightness, enhanced contrast, greater energy efficiency, and a longer lifespan compared to existing technologies. The acquisition includes proprietary technologies, specialized equipment, and key XDC employees. The Narrow Pixel Pitch market, which includes MicroLED, is projected to reach $12 billion by 2029.
