Stock markets in the US will close early on Dec. 24 and remain closed on Dec. 25 for Christmas. Nasdaq and NYSE will close at 1 p.m. ET. The bond market will close at 2 p.m. ET on Dec. 24 and remain closed on Christmas Day. Markets will reopen on Dec. 26.
Wall Street will resume normal business on Dec. 26 after the Christmas holiday closures. The next closure is scheduled for Jan. 1, 2026, for New Year’s Day. Bond markets will close early on Dec. 31 for New Year’s Eve. NASDAQ and NYSE will close at their regular times.
