Meta Platforms has acquired Manus, an AI startup based in Singapore founded by Chinese entrepreneurs. Manus specializes in advanced AI systems for paying users. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition will enhance Meta’s AI capabilities, benefiting both consumers and businesses.

Manus will maintain its product subscription service through its app and website post-acquisition. The company will continue to operate from its Singapore headquarters. CEO Xiao Hong stated that joining Meta will provide a stronger foundation for Manus without changing its operations or decision-making processes.
