Overweight allocation in Diversified Real Estate Activities positively impacted performance, while overweight in Telecom Tower REITs had a negative effect.

In the same letter, TCW Global Real Estate Fund highlighted American Tower Corporation (NYSE: AMT) as a leading independent multitenant communications real estate operator. AMT’s one-month return was -0.89%, and its shares lost 3.96% of their value over the last 52 weeks, closing at $174.71 per share on December 26, 2025.

TCW Global Real Estate Fund’s third-quarter 2025 investor letter noted that SBA Communications Corp. Class A (SBAC) and American Tower Corporation (AMT) were the two worst-performing securities, both falling under the Telecom Tower REITs category.
