Rocket Lab secured its largest contract ever, totaling $816 million, to build 18 missile defense satellites for the U.S. Space Force. This comes just two years after their $515 million contract in 2023. The new contract, named Tracking Layer Tranche 3 (TRKT3), focuses on building satellites equipped with advanced missile tracking sensors. Rocket Lab is among the top-tier space stocks, sharing the $3.5 billion contract with Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and L3Harris. Additionally, Rocket Lab’s StarLite sensors will be installed on all TRKT3 satellites, potentially boosting revenue to $1 billion. This significant win could propel Rocket Lab’s revenue stream significantly.
