Palo Alto Networks is reportedly in talks to acquire Israeli endpoint security company Koi Security for $400m. This would be the first Israeli company acquisition since founder Nir Zuk stepped down as CTO last year. The negotiation process includes a preliminary MoU, showing both parties’ interest in finalizing the deal.
Koi Security has raised $48m across two funding rounds, with key stakeholders like founders and major investors set to benefit from the acquisition. The company has developed advanced software using LLMs and AI agents to detect malware and vulnerabilities in applications and extensions.
Palo Alto Networks has been active in acquisitions, with a recent agreement to acquire Chronosphere for $3.35bn in November 2025. This move aims to enhance security capabilities in modern AI-driven application environments. The deal with Chronosphere is expected to conclude in the second half of FY26.
In addition to the potential Koi Security acquisition, Palo Alto Networks also revealed plans to acquire CyberArk for around $25bn in July 2025. This transaction is pending regulatory approval and shareholder consent, with an anticipated closing in the latter half of FY26.
