NVIDIA introduces the Rubin platform at CES, featuring six new chips designed for AI computing. The platform includes the NVIDIA Vera CPU, Rubin GPU, NVLink 6 Switch, ConnectX-9 SuperNIC, BlueField-4 DPU, and Spectrum-6 Ethernet Switch for accelerated training and reduced inference token cost. DGX SuperPOD remains the foundation for deploying Rubin-based systems.
The Rubin platform introduces major advancements like sixth-generation NVLink, NVIDIA Vera CPU, Rubin GPU, Confidential Computing, and RAS Engine for increased intelligence and efficiency in AI computing. These innovations result in up to a 10x reduction in inference token cost compared to the previous generation.
DGX SuperPOD deployments will integrate NVIDIA DGX Vera Rubin NVL72 or DGX Rubin NVL8 systems, BlueField-4 DPUs, Inference Context Memory Storage Platform, ConnectX-9 SuperNICs, and Quantum-X800 InfiniBand for high-performance AI infrastructure. Each system delivers significant performance and memory capabilities for efficient AI projects.
The Rubin platform redefines data centers as high-performance AI factories with advanced networking solutions like NVIDIA Spectrum-6 Ethernet switches, Quantum-X800 InfiniBand switches, BlueField-4 DPUs, and ConnectX-9 SuperNICs. These innovations eliminate traditional bottlenecks in AI workloads and ensure peak efficiency.
The next-generation 800Gb/s end-to-end networking suite offers optimized connectivity for massive-scale clusters using NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand and Spectrum-X Ethernet switches. These platforms deliver high performance, low latency, and efficient routing for AI clusters, ensuring peak efficiency in AI factory operations.
NVIDIA Mission Control software enables automated AI data center operations and orchestration for Rubin-based DGX systems. This software accelerates infrastructure management, integrates with facilities, and maximizes AI factory productivity with autonomous recovery and efficiency innovations. DGX SuperPOD with Rubin systems will be available later this year.
