Global insurer Howden has acquired Atlantic Global Risk, a top five transaction liability insurance broker in North America. The deal’s financial terms remain undisclosed. Atlantic Global Risk offers various services and employs over 110 people, serving clients across Canada, the US, and Latin America. The acquisition is part of Howden’s strategy to expand its retail broking presence in the US, establishing a global leader in transaction liability. The founders of Atlantic Global Risk will continue with the combined company and become shareholders of Howden. Completion of the deal is expected in the first quarter of 2026.
