Morgan Stanley submitted registrations for spot Bitcoin and Solana exchange-traded products. Bitcoin rose 1% to $94,187, while Solana increased 6% to $143. The bank plans passive investment vehicles pending regulatory approval to track cryptocurrency performance. Custodians and fees are undisclosed. The ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF uses a joint venture model.
Bitcoin ETFs have $119 billion in assets under management, with BlackRock’s IBIT holding $72.8 billion. Solana ETFs are newer, with Bitwise’s Solana ETF debuting in October 2025. Other options include VanEck Solana ETF, Fidelity Solana Fund, and Grayscale Solana Trust ETF.
