Ford Motor reported a 6% increase in U.S. vehicle sales last year, totaling 2.2 million units, with a 2.7% uptick in the fourth quarter. Despite being the third-largest automaker in the U.S., Ford faced production challenges with its F-Series pickup trucks due to fires at a key aluminum supplier plant. Electric vehicle sales declined 14.1%, but hybrid sales grew by nearly 22%. Traditional internal combustion engine vehicles made up 86% of Ford’s sales in 2025.
