Soybeans closed lower, down 5 to 7 cents, with the national average Cash Bean price at $9.82 1/4. Soymeal futures were up 20 cents to $1.30, while Soy Oil futures were down 38 to 47 points. China bought 10 cargoes of US soybeans, with a 336,000 MT private export sale. Total soybean commitments are at 27.698 MMT, a 31% decline yr/yr. Brazil soybean exports in December were 3.38 MMT, up 68.6% from 2024 and down 19.4% from November. EU soybean imports are behind last year by 0.88 MMT.
