California Water Service Group has agreed to purchase the remaining membership interests of BVRT Utility Holding Company LLC, becoming the sole owner of its seven subsidiary water and wastewater utilities in the Austin-San Antonio corridor. The acquisition is subject to approval from the Public Utilities Commission of Texas and Group Board. BVRT subsidiary Camino Real Utility Company LLC has been granted a water certificate of convenience and necessity to serve future customer connections in Caldwell County. Camino Real has also signed an agreement to extend sewer main to serve the Oatman Hill development, which is expected to include up to 5,000 dwelling units by 2036.
