Ryzon Materials and Yintai Xinhai Mining have signed a non-binding agreement for an EPC+M contract for the Nachu graphite mine in Tanzania. The project, owned by Ryzon’s Tanzanian subsidiary, is located 220km from the port of Mtwara and has a planned capacity of 80,000 tpa. Xinhai will provide expertise in mining engineering and mineral processing for the project. The agreement outlines the process for finalizing the contract, with Xinhai expected to submit a formal proposal in the second quarter of 2026. Discussions for project financing, primarily through debt financing, are currently ongoing. Xinhai is confident in the unique potential of the Nachu graphite mine.
