Constellation Brands introduces its first non-alcoholic Modelo beer in the US, the Chelada Limón y Sal variant, available in select markets nationwide. This marks the second non-alc beer offering from Constellation in the US, following the non-alcoholic Corona brand.

The non-alcoholic Modelo brand is now being rolled out in Illinois, New York, Texas, Florida, and California, sold in 12oz six-packs and priced similarly to non-alc Corona. The new variant contains less than 0.5% abv, catering to consumers seeking moderation without sacrificing flavor.

Constellation has made investments in the non-alcoholic beverage space, including taking a minority stake in functional drinks producer Hiyo and alcohol-free sparkling brand Töst. The company’s recent third-quarter results show a 10% decrease in total organic net sales, with beer sales down 1% and wine and spirits sales dropping 7%.

Despite challenges in sales, Constellation is expanding its non-alcoholic offerings with the launch of Modelo Chelada Limón y Sal Non-Alcoholic beer in the US. The brand aims to provide consumers with flavorful choices that don’t compromise on taste or quality, catering to the growing demand for non-alcoholic options in the market.
