Tax expert Lisa Greene-Lewis predicts some filers may see increased refunds or lower balances due in 2026, with some expecting up to $1,000 extra. Nearly half of survey respondents plan to file taxes early to receive refunds sooner, as it is often the largest check they will receive all year.
