NVIDIA reported record quarterly revenue of $22.1 billion, up 22% from Q3 and 265% from a year ago. Data Center revenue reached $18.4 billion, up 27% from Q3 and 409% from a year ago. Full-year revenue hit $60.9 billion, up 126%. CEO Jensen Huang highlighted surging demand for accelerated computing and generative AI. Quarterly GAAP earnings per share was $4.93, up 33% from the previous quarter and 765% from a year ago. Non-GAAP earnings per diluted share was $5.16, up 28% from the previous quarter and 486% from a year ago. Fiscal 2024 revenue saw a 126% increase, with GAAP earnings per diluted share up 586% CEO Jensen Huang expressed excitement for the future and invited stakeholders to attend the next GTC event.

NVIDIA’s fourth quarter Fiscal 2024 results showed significant growth across various metrics, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, operating income, net income, and diluted earnings per share. Revenue hit $22.1 billion, up 22% from Q3, while gross margin rose to 76.0%, up 2.0 points from the previous quarter. Operating income reached $13,615, up 31% from Q3, with net income at $12,285, a 33% increase. Diluted earnings per share grew to $4.93, up 33%.

NVIDIA achieved notable progress in Data Center, Gaming, and Professional Visualization sectors during the fiscal year 2024. Data Center revenue for the fourth quarter was $2.9 billion, level with the previous quarter and up 56% from a year ago. Full-year revenue in Gaming rose 15% to $10.4 billion. Professional Visualization revenue for the quarter reached $463 million, up 11% from Q3 and 105% from a year ago. Full-year revenue in this segment grew 1% to $1.6 billion. The company introduced several innovations, including the GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Series GPUs and generative AI capabilities for RTX AI PCs. NVIDIA’s CFO, Colette Kress, provided commentary on the company’s financial results.

Looking ahead, NVIDIA’s outlook for the first quarter of fiscal 2025 includes an expected revenue of $24.0 billion, plus or minus 2%. GAAP and non-GAAP gross margins are projected to be 76.3% and 77.0%, respectively, with operating expenses at approximately $3.5 billion and $2.5 billion for GAAP and non-GAAP. Other income and expense are expected to be an income of approximately $250 million, with tax rates estimated at 17.0%, excluding any discrete items. NVIDIA emphasized its commitment to non-GAAP measures to provide a comprehensive understanding of the company’s financial performance.
