NTT DATA Group Corp, Sumitomo Corp, and JA Mitsui Leasing have formed Intra-Asia Marine Networks, a $1 billion company to develop and operate the Intra-Asia Marine Cable, connecting Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore with extensions to Korea, the Philippines, and Taiwan. The cable system will enhance regional connectivity and support Asia’s digital infrastructure. With landing stations in Japan and Southeast Asia, the system will improve disaster response. I-AM NW will oversee the project, providing communication services to global tech firms and telecom operators. SSUMY.PK closed at $37.53 on OTC Markets, up 2.4% on Monday.
