Fanatics, a sports merchandising giant, has launched Fanatics Studios, a media and entertainment studio in partnership with OBB Media. Fanatics Studios will create sports and culture content like films, documentaries, live events, and digital series. Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin is excited about this new venture, expanding the company’s reach among sports fans.

Fanatics, acquired by Michael Rubin in 2011, has grown into a $30 billion company with 22,000 employees. The company has expanded into collectibles, sports betting, live shopping, and events. Fanatics Studios expects to earn nine-figure revenue in its first year and has projects lined up with ESPN, WWE, and MLB, among others.

Fanatics Studios will collaborate with major sports entities like the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, a flag football tournament in Saudi Arabia, and a documentary on Tom Brady. Rubin aims to enhance the fan experience by creating innovative content that brings fans closer to their favorite teams, players, and sports. The new content studio is set to be a significant part of Fanatics’ business.
