Trent will oversee product line, assortment planning, and channel segmentation. Saidi, appointed by former CEO Stephanie Linnartz, will advise on design expression and creative continuity. Plank expresses confidence in the leadership changes, highlighting the company’s momentum in transformation and operational rigor.
Trent, with a decade at Under Armour, has held various leadership positions. Peake, with 16 years at UA, will lead the company’s business in the Americas. Under Armour reports a net loss of $18.8 million on revenue of $1.3 billion in the second quarter, with North American sales declining by 8 percent.
Under Armour ends partnership with NBA star Stephen Curry’s Curry Brand, expecting restructuring charges of $255 million. Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. increases stake in UA to 22 percent. Analysts believe UA remains a strong athleticwear brand and is on the right track for growth and success.
