Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang plans to visit China ahead of Lunar New Year, amid U.S. export restrictions on chip sales to China. Huang will meet potential buyers, discuss logistical challenges, and attend a company party in Beijing. China reportedly restricts Nvidia chip purchases for limited purposes, but the Commerce Ministry denies awareness.

Huang’s upcoming China trip follows concerns over Nvidia’s ability to sell in the Chinese market, which once accounted for a significant portion of revenue. U.S. export restrictions prevent Nvidia from selling advanced chips to China, impacting the data center business. Huang visited China at least three times last year, including for Lunar New Year celebrations.
