HydroGraph Clean Power Inc. has started constructing two new Hyperion graphene reactors to increase graphene production capacity. Each reactor can produce 10 tons per year of ultra-pure graphene using the explosion-synthesis process. The reactors will be commissioned in January and February 2026, then moved to Texas for broader manufacturing expansion.
President and CEO Kjirstin Breure stated that these new reactors will help meet customer demand and validate the consistency of their process. HydroGraph plans to commission the reactors before permanent installation to ensure controlled validation and performance testing. The company follows the Graphene Council’s Verified Graphene Producer® standards for quality and consistency.
HydroGraph’s “explosion synthesis” process produces graphene with exceptional purity and low energy use. The company aims to advance graphene adoption in large-scale manufacturing applications. HydroGraph plans for broader manufacturing expansion in south Texas with more reactors and dedicated acetylene supply via pipeline.
