A lawsuit filed in Texas claims that R&R Express and RFX Inc. failed to pay $264,650 for transportation services provided by Jimenez Logistics. The lawsuit alleges that despite repeated demands for payment, the invoices remain unpaid.

The lawsuit further alleges that R&R Express and RFX knew they couldn’t pay for services when arranging transportation and exercised control over each other. Former employees reveal lack of financial transparency until the collapse, leaving agents and salespeople in a difficult position.

RFX CEO Nate Lourie’s termination and the subsequent shutdown of operations caught many employees by surprise. The fallout left agents struggling to maintain credibility with customers. Court filings indicate R&R and affiliates owe up to $65 million in unpaid trade payables, affecting small trucking companies.

Despite repeated requests for comments, R&R Family of Companies, R&R Express, and RFX have not responded to the Jimenez Logistics lawsuit. No bankruptcy filing has been confirmed. The case remains pending, leaving carriers seeking payment and relationships strained.
