Corn futures closed with gains of 1 ¼ to 3 ½ cents due to strength in wheat and a weaker US dollar index. The CmdtyView national average Cash Corn price rose by 3 3/4 cents to $3.94 1/2. EIA data showed ethanol production dropped by 5,000 barrels per day to 1.114 million bpd, with stocks decreasing by 339,000 barrels to 25.4 million barrels. Exports fell by 61,000 bpd to 157,000 bpd, while refiner inputs of ethanol rose by 31,000 bpd to 883,000 bpd. Export Sales data to be released Thursday, traders expecting 2025/26 corn bookings between 1 to 2.5 MMT and 2026/27 sales between 0 and 200,000 MT. Mar 26 Corn closed at $4.30, Nearby Cash at $3.94 1/2, May 26 Corn at $4.38, and Jul 26 Corn at $4.44.
