Amazon CEO Andy Jassy is leading negotiations with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, potentially becoming the largest contributor to the AI company’s fundraising round.

OpenAI, valued at $830 billion, is preparing for an IPO that could value it at $1 trillion. Amazon and other tech giants like Nvidia and Microsoft are also in talks to invest in OpenAI. Anthropic, a rival to OpenAI, predicts significant revenue growth, reaching around $26 billion by 2026.

Amazon declined to comment, while OpenAI has not responded. Nvidia, Amazon, and Microsoft are considering investing up to $60 billion in OpenAI. Nvidia, an existing investor, is discussing a potential $30 billion investment, while Microsoft is looking at investing less than $10 billion.
