The wheat complex weakened Friday due to a $0.893 rise in the dollar index. Chicago SRW futures saw losses, while KC HRW futures were down. MPLS spring wheat also closed with losses. Commitment of Traders data showed managed money covering shorts in Chicago and KC wheat futures and options. Export Sales data revealed accumulated wheat sale commitments ahead of last year. Closing prices for various wheat futures were down slightly.
