Alamos Gold Inc. reported results of the Expansion Study completed on the Island Gold District operation in Ontario, Canada. The study includes a 30% increase in Mineral Reserves, expansion of the Magino mill to 20,000 tpd, and increased processing rates to drive production higher and create one of Canada’s largest and most profitable gold operations. Production is expected to increase to over 530,000 ounces per year at low costs.
