Asahi Kasei Corp. reported higher profit in the first nine months of fiscal 2025, with net income increasing 22.7% to 120.61 billion yen. Operating income grew 6.2% to 173.95 billion yen, while net sales edged up 0.1% to 2.261 trillion yen. The firm raised its fiscal 2025 profit view but trimmed its sales forecast. Looking ahead, Asahi Kasei Corp. now expects attributable profit of 145 billion yen, operating income of 225 billion yen, and net sales of 3.07 trillion yen for the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2026. Shares on the Tokyo Stock Exchange were trading 5.6% higher at 1,605.50 yen.
