S&P/TSX Composite Index up 0.15%, second highest close this year.

The S&P/TSX Composite Index increased by 31.69 points or 0.15% today, marking the second highest closing value this year. The index is up 3.87% year-to-date, with a 1.90% increase month-to-date. It is currently 0.12% off its record high of 21794.56. Over the past year, the index has risen by 11.13% and is up 16.18% from its 52-week low. This positive trend follows gains in three of the last four trading days and a 5.75% increase from the 2024 closing low. Source: Dow Jones Market Data, FactSet.
