Google’s AirDrop-style file sharing feature will soon expand to more Android devices after successful testing with Apple hardware. The company worked on interoperability to ensure smooth transfers between platforms, with plans to bring Quick Share to additional Android phones later this year. Originally exclusive to Pixel phones, the feature has been limited despite hints of a wider rollout. Google also mentioned efforts to simplify data transfers for users switching phones, focusing on transitions from iOS. On Friday, GOOG closed at $323.10, down 2.48%, and is trading slightly higher in after-hours activity on the NasdaqGS.
