Saks Global appoints Cheryl Han as chief marketing and digital officer to lead marketing strategy, e-commerce, and customer engagement. Han will report to Darcy Penick and work alongside CEO Geoffroy van Raemdonck. The company aims to build loyalty and drive sales through a seamless omnichannel experience.

Han’s appointment follows the departure of chief marketing officer Kristin Maa, senior vice president of digital Emily Nahas, and chief customer officer Kimberly Miller. Saks Global purchased Neiman Marcus Group in 2024 and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization last month. The retailer secured $1.7 billion in debtor-in-possession financing to navigate bankruptcy.

Van Raemdonck is leading the turnaround effort at Saks Global, focusing on restructuring, store closings, and integrating Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus operations. Penick emphasized the importance of marketing and digital in shaping the customer experience and building enduring relationships. Han is excited to deliver personalized experiences and strengthen customer engagement through marketing and digital efforts.
