OpenAI has partnered with Le Monde and Prisa Media to develop news-related uses of its ChatGPT artificial intelligence tool. The partnership will allow ChatGPT users to connect with news in interactive and insightful ways, with access to summaries and original articles from the publishers. Financial details of the partnerships were not disclosed. Brussels has approved new rules governing AI, including stricter regulations for powerful models like ChatGPT. The AI Act focuses on higher-risk AI uses and includes transparency rules and bans on dangerous tools.
