Aventis Energy Inc. has started drilling activities at their Corvo Uranium Project in Saskatchewan. The program will span 5-6 weeks and focus on high-grade uranium targets refined through recent geophysical work. The Company is fully funding the program, with drilling operations led by Standard Uranium Ltd.
The 2026 Winter Drill Program at the Corvo Uranium Project is underway, with approximately 2,500-3,000 meters of drilling planned. The target areas were selected based on geophysical work and prospecting efforts, with an emphasis on high-priority uranium host rocks. The project covers 12,364 hectares in northeastern Saskatchewan.
The Company considers uranium mineralization with concentrations above 1.0 wt% U3O8 as “high-grade.” Radioactivity readings above 65,535 cps are considered “off-scale,” while readings above 300 cps are deemed “anomalous.” Aventis Energy is also advancing the Sting Copper Project, with significant copper mineralization discovered at the site.
Michael Mulberry, CEO of Aventis Energy, is optimistic about the drilling campaign at the Corvo Uranium Project. The Company aims to test high-grade targets and advance exploration efforts. The historical data and current exploration work provide a strong foundation for the project’s potential success in mineral discovery and development.
