Felix Gold’s drilling and trenching at Treasure Creek in Alaska reveal extensions to gold mineralisation within the NW Array. The project covers 11,687 hectares in the Fairbanks Mining District. Results confirm high-grade antimony mineralisation surrounded by a gold halo. Trenching west of the main target uncovers high-grade gold findings extending the mineralised corridor.
Drilling efforts at Treasure Creek focused on stibnite veins and breccia units, supporting waste rock characterisation and production studies. High-grade gold findings include 47.36m at 1.34g/t, 15.71m at 2.91g/t, and 13.72m at 2.83g/t. Pending assay results for additional holes will provide further data on gold and antimony content in the area.
Felix Gold, the largest landowner in the Fairbanks Gold Mining District, oversees a region with significant gold resources and exploration potential. The district has a history of producing more than 16moz of gold, including Kinross Gold’s Fort Knox mine nearby. Recent assay results offer insight into gold mineralisation geometry and antimony veins in the area.
Executive director Joseph Webb highlights the extension of the mineralised system at Treasure Creek, with trenching revealing 67m of gold mineralisation over a 90m section. Results show the system remains open in all directions, with significant gold findings from recent drilling efforts.
