Boutique investment manager Matthews International Capital Management will return ownership to founders G. Paul Matthews and Mark Headley pending board, regulatory, and shareholder approvals. Longstanding partners will also increase their equity stakes. Kathy Xu, previously with APG Asset Management, joins the firm in Hong Kong. Matthews has focused on Asia and global emerging markets since 1991.
