With more companies considering this option, the board proposes narrow amendments for consistency, setting a shorter comment period until 20 April 2026. IASB members develop and approve IFRS Accounting Standards, and amendments to IFRS 19 were issued last year. The aim is to finalize changes by mid-2026 for incorporation into national legislation.
