Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Cisco have opened a new Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad, India to advance autonomous enterprise operations. The facility will focus on developing and demonstrating solutions to transition customers to intelligent, self-governing systems using AI-driven platforms and automation frameworks.

The CoE will leverage TCS’ Services Autonomy Model to support enterprise clients in achieving higher operational autonomy. The collaboration will integrate tools such as Cisco AppDynamics, Splunk, TCS ignio, and TCS Cognix to accelerate the journey towards autonomous operations and achieve unprecedented business agility.

The core strategy of the CoE is based on agentic AI mesh architectures to observe real-time behavioural states, automate through conversational AI interfaces, and manage orchestration and self-healing. This framework aims to move organizations towards integrated models prioritizing business outcomes alongside IT metrics.

The CoE aims to enable zero-touch operations within enterprise environments, reducing complexity and operational friction. It will deliver AI-first solutions tailored to various industry sectors and individual client business processes, building on a partnership between TCS and Cisco of over twenty years.

TCS and Cisco’s new CoE will be a co-innovation platform for enterprises to embrace autonomous IT operations with self-learning, self-action, and self-governance capabilities. The hub aims to accelerate the transition to Autonomous Operations, delivering measurable business impact and improved business agility for large enterprises.

Cisco recently expanded its AgenticOps operating model, introducing features supporting networking, security, and observability across distributed IT environments. Additionally, Cisco, alongside SharonAI, has launched Australia’s first Cisco Secure AI Factory in partnership with Nvidia to provide secure and scalable AI capabilities within the country, supporting data sovereignty requirements.
