Lindman’s departure from Chainlink after five years was confirmed by the firm, highlighting his role in ensuring compliance and international regulations.
Lindman brings over a decade of legal experience to the SEC, having served in various roles at Chainlink, including deputy general counsel. He was part of a delegation that discussed crypto regulation with the Crypto Task Force in March 2025, focusing on token taxonomy and securities record-keeping requirements.
The SEC’s Crypto Task Force, led by Commissioner Hester Peirce, includes experienced individuals from the crypto industry, such as Landon Zinda and Veronica Reynolds. Established during the Trump administration, the task force has organized roundtable events and tours to gather feedback on digital asset regulation.
