Apaleo and THE FLAG group launch AI Trace Agent to automate hotel operations by translating guest comments into tasks. The system identifies guest needs and creates tasks in Sweeply, saving 3.5 hours per week at THE FLAG Zürich. This innovation sets the stage for further automation and improved guest experience and operational performance.

Apaleo’s Trace Agent, developed with Sweeply, streamlines task management and enhances agent-to-agent coordination. The prototype was operational within one month and went live after two and a half months of iteration. CEO Ulrich Pillau emphasizes the practical benefits of agentic AI in day-to-day hotel operations and plans to co-create more AI agents with hoteliers.

THE FLAG plans to expand Trace Agent deployment to other properties and develop additional agents for various operational tasks. Upgrades include allowing agents to book services, inform guests of request confirmations, and allocate rooms based on guest preferences. Additionally, Cocoon & Eckelmann Hotels announced plans to migrate its entire portfolio to Apaleo’s API-first property management platform.
