Lefroy Exploration has commenced initial production at the Lucky Strike Gold Mine near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. The company has sent its first three gold doré bars, totaling 27.2kg or 584oz of gold, to the Perth Mint Refinery for final refining. The current toll milling campaign at the FMR Greenfields plant is ongoing and expected to finish by February’s end. Additional ore reserves are ready for processing.
The Lucky Strike Gold Deposit boasts a mineral resource estimate of 1.27 million tonnes at 1.95 grams per tonne gold, equivalent to around 79,600oz. Lefroy is collaborating with BML Ventures to secure further toll milling capacity for the project. CEO Graeme Gribbin expressed pride in the project’s progression over the past decade, marking a significant value increase for shareholders.
In November 2025, Lefroy secured all final mining and environmental approvals for the Lucky Strike gold project, setting the stage for the recent production milestone. The company is now on the verge of realizing substantial value for shareholders from the Lucky Strike mine and its broader Lefroy Project holdings.
