Apple To Launch Two New Fourth-Generation AirPods Models In Fall

From Nasdaq:

Apple is set to release two new AirPods models in the fall, featuring an updated design, improved fit, and USB-C charging case. The B768M model will include sport active noise cancellation and Find My location for the case, replacing the second and third-generation AirPods. Production of the new models is expected to start in May, with an estimated 20 to 25 million units.

In addition, Apple plans to launch next-generation AirPods Pro next year, equipped with a low-resolution camera for data capture and AI processing. The company also intends to rebrand Apple Id as “Apple Account” and is expected to make the announcement at the annual developers conference in June, along with the unveiling of new operating systems like iOS 18 with new AI features.
