NVIDIA launches storage partner validation program for enterprise AI deployment, helping streamline infrastructure.
From NVIDIA:
A surge in generative AI deployments is driving business innovation but also presents challenges for IT teams due to slow infrastructure deployment. NVIDIA has launched a storage partner validation program for NVIDIA OVX computing systems, with DDN, Dell PowerScale, NetApp, Pure Storage, and WEKA leading the way. These high-performance storage systems are crucial for AI workloads like chatbots and search tools that require large amounts of data.
Enterprises can now pair the right storage with NVIDIA-Certified OVX servers through this program, which standardizes the validation process for partners. Partners must complete NVIDIA tests measuring storage performance across various enterprise AI workloads requirements to achieve validation. Each test is run multiple times and audited by NVIDIA engineering teams.
The program offers guidance for optimal storage performance and scalability for enterprise AI workloads with NVIDIA OVX systems, while still allowing flexibility for customers to tailor their system and storage choices. IT teams must carefully consider their compute, networking, storage, and software choices for successful AI deployment.
NVIDIA-Certified Systems provide enterprise-grade performance, manageability, and scalability for AI workloads. OVX servers powered by NVIDIA L40S GPUs include NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand or NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking, and NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs, optimized for generative AI workloads.
NVIDIA-Certified OVX servers are now shipping from global system vendors like GIGABYTE, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Lenovo, with comprehensive support provided by each system builder. Validated storage solutions for NVIDIA-Certified OVX servers are available, with reference architectures set to be published soon. Stay updated on NVIDIA OVX Systems for more information.
