Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella successfully navigated regulators’ concerns by acquiring Inflection, an OpenAI challenger. Most of Inflection’s staff will join a new AI division at Microsoft led by co-founder Mustafa Suleyman, reporting directly to Nadella. The move allows Microsoft to bolster its AI capabilities while avoiding regulatory hurdles in acquiring the company.
