Nissan plans to increase sales by 1 million vehicles, launch 30 new models by 2027.

Nissan Motor announces plan to launch 30 new models by March 2027, aims to increase global sales by 1 million vehicles and cut costs for profitability. The automaker targets an operating profit margin over 6% and total shareholder returns exceeding 30% by then.

Nissan aims to have electrified vehicles make up 60% of global sales by the end of the decade, up from a previous goal of 55%. Facing stiff competition, Nissan and Honda consider partnership for EV components. 16 of Nissan’s 30 new models will be electrified, with plans to reduce EV costs by 30% by 2030.
