Wall Street observes 10 holidays in 2024 along with three early closures. Check out this list of stock market holidays for 2024 and 2025, including New Year’s Day, Independence Day, and Christmas Day. The bond market closes for all 10 stock market holidays in 2024 and 2025, as well as Indigenous Peoples’ Day and Veterans Day. Both stock exchanges are open for the Friday after Thanksgiving with an early closure at 1 p.m. The crypto market does not observe holidays and is open 24/7/365. Veterans Day is not a stock market holiday, but the bond market closes.
